Learn More About Kawasaki UTVs
History of Kawasaki
Kawasaki got its start in 1878 as a boat manufacturer that was a part of a larger company. Kawasaki Heavy Industries eventually expanded out to build trains, heavy equipment, and parts for airplanes and automobiles. Their strong suit, however, was developing engines.
In 1955, the company entered the world of powersports by developing their first motorcycles. Their hope was to make the brand more visible by releasing a product that the average person could use every day.
The first Kawasaki UTV was introduced in 1988. It was called the MULE™, which stood for Multi-Use Light Equipment. The early models featured a 454 cc twin-cylinder engine. Over the years, the company upgraded and improved the models to make them more capable of intense hauling and towing. They were becoming more and more a powerful workhouse able to tackle anything you threw its way. Today, MULE is the signature name for most side by side models made by the company.
Kawasaki Side by Side Models
Kawasaki is known for making ultimate SxS vehicles. They offer a wide range of engines, from 400 ccs to nearly 1,000ccs. This helps consumers find a side by side with the right amount of power they need without having to pay for more (or struggle with more power than they can handle). They also offer SxS vehicles that include 2WD and 4WD options, which helps you better handle some tougher projects and spots on difficult terrain.
While Kawasaki side by side vehicles are powerful workhorses, you can find plenty of recreational options as well. These tend to be made to be lighter so that you can have better agility and easier handling. You'll be able to get the most of trail riding. Hunters can pick SxS options made with optional camo paint finishes so that they can better blend into the environment. If you want to bring passengers along for your UTV ride, pick a model that fits a group. You can fit up to six passengers in certain Kawasaki UTV options!
