Ron, also known as "Poppie", is the founder and owner of Mid-State Motorsports since 1978. He has been married to his wife, Carol Allison, for 54 years now. Ron is a Vietnam Veteren. He has always enjoyed anything with speed. In 2001, he was the National Champion for Legend Car Racing. In 2017, he set the World Record in Jetski racing at the speed of 92.8 MPH. Recently in 2021, at the age of 77 years old, Ron was awarded World Champion in Super-Stock Drag Racing. He comes by Mid-State daily to visit and run errands. He recently became a Great-Grandpa and enjoys spending time with his family.

My name is Kyle Farley and I am a Cookeville native. I have been racing quads and dirt bikes since I was 4 years old. Mid-State has always been my hometown store and I have been coming here for all my powersports needs since I was on 50’s. To now be a part of the team is such a blessing to me. I believe in our values, our commitment to our customers in and out of the store, and in providing unparalleled customer service. I am absolutely passionate about powersports!
